Wow... Swindon was do different compared to what I researched. After being originally let down by my original accommodation, I had no other option to book a hotel. Before going here I was told that it was run down and that theres nothing to do, I thought I'd still visit since I booked my train ticket and didnt want to waste 35 pounds on wasting it. I honeslty wish I chose another place to visit, the area is filled with wannabe gangsters and lost youth. It needs a huge change and updating, theres too many shops which have closed down and are just abandoned.
The scenery is totally poor and the streets just seem grey, bland and ghostly.
Long story short, I appreciate the comments which were made however I will not be visiting back to swindon. I honestly hope your mayor/council upgrade your town and lighten the mood. I wish you all the best and hope it lightens up a bit and the mood.
