Visiting for a few days, any advice, places to visit, meets?

Hi All, I'm 20 M visiting for a week tomorrow and am looking to possibly meet someone to show me around and to have a general chit chat. Any suggestions will be much appreciated for places to visit and events like markets that are happening. Any food recommendations such as independent food places and bakeries. Any nice walks , fields/lakes.
Looking for people around my age and any uni students as I'm interesting in studying next year.
