How to structure a swim workout/routine

Hey,

Do y’all know of any good resources to structuring a swim routine?

My goal is to swim 50 yards freestyle under 30s (which I feel is not super unreasonable).

I feel the reason why I haven’t been able to do it is bc I don’t really have a swim plan, I kinda just go in and swim. Sometimes I take long breaks just cause.

I usually only have like 30-45 minutes to practice. Any recommendations?

P.s. I don’t really have access to a coach.
