Should I size down in speedo briefs?

Hey guys 15M here, I swim competitively for my high school and my regions swim club. I recently switched to speedo endurance brief and for my first one I got a size 30(same as my jammer) and it sagged to much so i ended up getting a size 28 for my next one but it still sags a little bit but not much. Should I get a size 26 for my next one or stick with 28. I’m worried it’ll be too small and end up wasting about 50 dollars.
