Post Body

Hi all- I just listed my hardcover copy of this book on eBay for $375 and thought a fun way to promote that would be by sharing some stuff I learned while reading it. I really hope another swiftie gets this- I know one used this book as research to write a fictionalized Harkness/Swift inspired story called "Lucky" and thats just amazing.

Fun Facts:

  1. One of her nicknames was Karma
  2. It was not her neighbor's dog she stole and dyed green.. it was a cat.
  3. Her life was extremely dark and spiraled into a horrible drug addiction. The part of her story that'll stay with me are of her children and grandchildren. They grew up either disturbed or distressed and truly tragic.
  4. In regards to her well-known funding in dance, she was extremely charismatic, knowledgeable, and hardworking af. But not particularly talented. And no amount of hard work or money could buy her the acclaim she seemed to be after.

Overall what I personally took away from it is the importance of a well-written biography. I always went first to the bio section of a library or bookstore and if Taylor Swift was to authorize anyone to write her official one I'd be impressed.
