Poor running gz250?

So i just bought an 03 suzuki gz250 and its been sitting since 09 i got it start and idle but it idles high and sputters and when i give it gas it dies but if i flutter the throttle it revs up but dies if i slowly give gas or snap it wide open. What could it be? Ive adjusted air fuel valve and idle speed but nothing has changed. What should i do?
