Just wanted to say I finally had some vindication with my wife tonight. She is always giving me crap for all the camping gear, survival items, extra flashlights, the candles, just everything I buy, saying we are never going to need any of that “crap”.
Tonight we had a power outrage and I was able to easily grab some flashlights to light up the house, some battery operated fans to keep her and the baby comfortable. She turned to me and said she was sorry for all the crap she has given me over the years and thanked me for all I do.
Was a total win in my book. And now she wants to buy a generator, so another win.
