New to the r/Surveying community!
Been in construction surveying for going on 5 years now with current company. For a while now I've wanted to get certified to at least be able show I'm capable of doing what's being asked of me. Have 0 college hours so no way of becoming a PLS, however, I have been looking into the CST certifications to broaden my knowledge of other types of surveying that can help me down the road. Anybody know if these certifications (CST 1-4) are recognized among the surveying community, or other survey employers? Keep in mind everything I've learned was taught to me by the civil super who was in charge of surveying before I came along, and also from personal field experiences I've picked up throughout the years.
