I've been surveying for 3 years and am looking for outside advice
Post Body

As the title says I've been surveying for about 3 years, this is my first year surveying solo due to short personnel with 2 people quitting this year

My company hired a new surveyor this summer that's getting paid 50% more than me and I'm being asked to teach him

I got a raise earlier this year to $20/hr, so should I ask for at least the new guy's pay or apply for other companies first before asking about a raise?

Also I plan on moving out of state next year, should I wait til I move before taking classes towards my PLS as different states have different requirements or should I start classes now?
