Post Body

Hey everyone, for context, I am a 26 year old survey party chief in Florida, unlicensed but currently in schooling process to obtain license. I have been at this firm for almost 5 years now, started as a rod man and worked my way up to a party chief, have had people work under me but am currently running a one man crew, the only field crew in our department, and handling 100% of the field work, all of the post field data processing in TBC and such, and even do a decent amount of the CAD work that we put out for our surveys. I’ve been at the engineering firm I’m at for 5 years now, and have my review coming up next month. I’m currently making $23/hr but i want to negotiate for more during my review. I’ve already put together a decent presentation of why i feel i deserve more, how much I’m saving the company from the roles i take, and of other average pay of positions similar to mine in the area, but i want to make sure I’m going about it the professional way, so any advice is very much appreciated, thank you!
