Trimble Service Centers hate this one simple trick!
Post Body

Twit at work dropped the controller face down and cracked the touch screen. $15 replacement off AliExpress and an hour to disassemble and reassemble. Only had two screws left over as well!

You should see how many dollaredoos we pay for power and internet here! You'd understand why we use roo power.

That would be the Australia and Mining tax. Everything is jacked up over here.

The way I figure it, better off changing out the screen and getting another couple of years out of it than junking it.

Think I've seen a few floating around on eBay etc. just a few screws. A couple are under the rubber pads.

I've had a salesperson get the shits with me ordering copy Trimble quick releases etc online. Couldn't understand why I'd rather pay $70 for a R10 quick release over the $760 for the genuine.

They still expect people to send any gear back to them for service here. Same guy waffled on about opening the units in a clean room etc to prevent dust getting in.

Not sure but I'd probably avoid smashing one of those, looks expensive.

Lol GIFed it to add as an image. If it was filmed on the TSC3 camera it would be worse from all the scratches on the camera.
