Hello! I will most likely look like an idiot asking this, but I need to figure something out, and looking for some advice!
I am an estimator for an artificial turf company. As of right now, I am using very basic tools. Tape measure, wheel, and I have used the Moasure One.
I want to step up my game! However, I have very little to no surveying experience. I want a tool that is fast and relatively accurate which will give me the square footage, and perimeter length. And if I also got information about the grading that would be awesome.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
If it's outside, you could use tools like google earth to get an area which would allow you to include a polygon and imagery in your quote.
Inside get a laser disto which would allow you to shoot multiple distances and calc an area. Some have Bluetooth connectivity to an app which will allow you to export area reports.

Maybe something like the Reach GPS units if corners aren't inter-visible with a Disto.
