We will be investigating the effect of greenwashing and sustainability transparency by two major fast-fashion companies - H&M and SHEIN.

Specifically, we will be asking how do H&M and SHEIN utilize corporate social responsibility in their endeavor of building consumer trust through the discursive construction of their sustainability practices. And are these practices effective from the consumer's perspective?
