BAC 4000 and stock battery

Hey guys maybe this is all covered in another post, if it is please just drop a link.

Does the controller allow you to go to 72v with the same battery just dropping the life? I really don’t know if that’s a super stupid question but this talk about voltage switching is confusing.

Also, what can I expect with the new controller and app if I bypass the battery? Are there any numbers for what difference you will see?

I do plan to upgrade the battery but this seems to be changing quickly and I want to see what batteries are available in the next few months before I jump.
