I'm really trying to decide between an electric or gas dirt bike. I've watched a ton of videos and done research, so now I'm putting it to the hive mind. The max I can spend would be the ultra bee. I've owned a KTM 250 and would mostly be spending time riding trails or up mountain roads while hunting, but I would like the ability to do some track days. (Never jumped) so I wouldn't be hitting anything HUGE. I LOVE the idea of the storm bee, but just can't afford it. Is the ultra bee enough to do this with a 220-250lb rider? I'm having a hard time getting the perspective of the acceleration on videos.
Does anyone have any other bikes I should be looking at vs the storm bee? The light bee just seems to small. I'm willing to look outside the Surrounding, but Talaria has the mx4 and I'm not sure that would do it for me. Mototec just came out with a 72v for a great price, but if I'm going to spend that kind of money not sure I want to invest that with them?
Am I out of my mind for thinking an e bike is the way. I'm a car guy, but really a motor guy and I love the sound and feeling behind it. So that's a big perk for me. But I like the portability of the e bikes, the charge and go, no engine rebuilds etc.
