FYI for anyone out there with a Preamble, the stock rims are tubeless ready! Iโm not sure about the stock tires, or if it matters. These WTBs were already on it from the previous owner. I was never convinced on the advantages of tubeless, but I got a pinch flat a couple weeks ago. (Maybe itโs a sign to stop riding through construction zones?) I figured Iโd switch to the dark side ๐
Took out the rim strip, put in 25mm WTB rim tape (itโs a 21mm rim and it fit perfectly), 44mm WTB tubeless valves, and WTB sealant. Had to drive somewhere to use an air compressor a couple times (installed one of the tires backwards at first ๐), but letโs hope they hold up for awhile!
