Hello all I have a Surface Book 3 15 with a 1660 Ti, Windows 11, whenever I try to open games the screen freezes but the audio continues, Alt-Tab will update the display on the game but it will freeze immediately again, I'm at a loss here.

I have tried:

Using DDU and installing an older driver that works

Disabling "full-screen optimizations"

disabling DPI Scaling

Various windows compatibilities settings

changing to a resolution that isn't the surface's weird resolution which can't work with some games

manually turning off "Let windows make apps less blurry"

and under-clocking the GPU a small amount.

I'm afraid of my own settings menu now... please help.
