I've just seen the presentation. Both the SP4 & Surface Book are amazing. But for me as a SP3 owner the SP4 doesn't prompt me to upgrade right away (I'll probably wait for the SP5) and the Surface Book is just way too expensive for me right now as a student.

But the new Type Cover caught my interest. I always hate entering my password and the Fingerprint Scanner is a very nice touch. I've got a carbon skin on my SP3, so the black type cover would fit optically (although it's a shame that the Fingerprint Type Cover is only available in Black). I will definitely buy it and only return it if the keys themselves are worse.

What about you, SP3 owners?

btw: Does the Fingerprint Type Cover have the same measurements as the normal Pro 4 Type Covers? Couldn't find any info on this, it's not in the press spec sheet. http://news.microsoft.com/download/presskits/surface/docs/surfaceaccessoriesfs.docx
