Repair Surface Book 3

Post Body

My Surface Book 3 broke a few days ago, thought everything was fine at first but today realized it doesn’t charge and dies immediately once I disconnect the charger.

Since the first time it died like that, it hasn’t been functioning properly when it is on. Pen input, keyboard not working, screen flashing, lag/delay. To make matters worse it’s stuck in Tablet mode, and I’m unable to switch it back around.

Is it possible to fix this myself? Should I send this in to Microsoft? How much would the repair cost? Would I get a SB with the same tech specs back?

I use my SB for school everyday and don’t really want to buy a new one for $3k so I’m kind of screwed.
