If you're lazy and phone-call shy like myself rejoice! It was all super simple.

Some context: I DRS'd a single test share 2 months ago and recently received the first letter, I registered online using the account number and verified my email. After reading about the hotline I decided to get off my ass and make sure I'd get the second letter ASAP.

When on the phone I explained the above and asked if it's true that we can request the second letter to be sent from the UK office rather than the US one. The representative explained that it is NOT true. Unfortunately that is not an available service, HOWEVER, you can opt to pay for:

• The express mail for 45 USD (which everyone already knows about);
• An email! Which still takes a few business days (unsure how many exactly) for 30 USD!

The email will take slightly less than the express mail and also costs less!

NOTE: They will ask you security questions to confirm your identity, so make sure you have:

• Your account number (you need to have received your first letter for this)
• Your address
• A Investor Centre account on the US Computershare site, you can register with the account number if you haven't already
• A credit/debit card at hand

That is all! It took about 10 minutes and I am now waiting to receive the email and DRS the rest of my shares!

Edit: Apparently it was possible for other apes to ask for the letter to be sent from the UK, I'm unsure why I was told the opposite, but you might as well call yourself, it's all pretty simple.

Edit 2: I got a messages from another ape without enough karma to post:

SwissApe here. I called on Tuesday the DRS helpline in the UK ( 800 38233823) and requested for the letter to be sent from the UK office. The lovely on the other end of the line told me two things. 1) it is possible to send the letter from the UK to anyone in Europe 2) “We will send out the letter only next Monday/Tuesday, because we have a huge backlog of letters to be sent out - more than 400 requests are still pending.”

My letter should arrive just in time for Christmas 🥳 will take me a while to get the second letter, but will pay the 30$ to get it via e-mail 😊
