How important is the amount of institutional ownership for the MOASS?
Post Body

Good Afternoon fellow apes, I was just looking through the institutional ownership of GME, since a lot of DDs main focal point is the amount of institutional ownership exceeding the amount of the available float (aka they bought shares that has not been released by the company).

As of writing this (i know its not entirely accurate since they still have tomorrow to file) institutional ownership from Fintel shows that institutions own 88% of the outstanding shares which is about 70 million and taking their insider number of about 15 mil gives us the float of about 54.8 million. Taking the institutional ownership of GME (61 million) / float (54.8 million) gives us about an institutional ownership of 111% of the float.

So the question I have is that if the institutional ownership to drop below 100% of the float tomorrow, would that hurt the chances of a MOASS?
