Making Sub Private During MOASS?

Just wanted to see what others thought of this idea.
Would it be best to make the sub private when stuff kicks off? I'm thinking that might be a solid way to lower the risk of bots and shills and also make it a little easier for us to organize information when stuff is really going down.
It might be easier to keep a clear head with less noise from the outside.
