US companies that has the most cash on hand as of September, 2024.
GameStop was ranked 125 yesterday. Now they are ranked 118 and sitting at about $4.6 billion.
Blackrock sits at rank 44 with $10.2 billion.
Nvidia is at rank 14 with $34.8 billion.
Berkshire Hathaway is at ranks 11 and 12 with $42.3 billion. Not sure why they have two rankings split between BRK.A and BRK.B but the company books are the same.
Goldman Sachs Group at rank 1 with $206.3 billion.
We will have to wait and see what these companies do with their massive cash positions. It feels like growing a cash position and reaching zero debt during this time of economic uncertainty is like filling up your hot air balloon, lifting off, and waiting for the next great flood to wipe the Earth. The survivors will reap the benefits of the next economic cycle. GameStop can sell up to another 500 million shares. So you can say, we're only getting started. And as the price ceiling rises for cash equivalent per share, the higher they can sell their shares at. Eventually, every short that gets trapped below $20 will just drown. How can SHF stop this? They can't.
This is like the UNO Reverse of "Cellar Boxing."
