I tried using my recovering phrase on a new meta mask wallet and nothing is showing up. When GME announced shutting down of the wallet I’m not sure if I transferred to meta mask by using my recovery phrase with them in the first instance?

Anyway I built a new computer and didn’t save any info from meta mask. And now when I log in using the original GME seed phrase I see nothing. Question is did I originally transfer to meta mask and is it now lost since I didn’t keep my seed phrase for meta mask?

I’m honestly really confused. I know people like the wallets but I can see why they will never be mainstream. Basically we can’t trust ourselves.
