But why hasn’t there been a massive campaign pushing to integrate stocks with blockchain? Fully transparent and would prevent failures to locate or naked shorting.
I always thought of crypto using “currency” in the name as a Trojan horse to get adoption, when there was really no intent of using it like that. I just thought they figured out a way to make a new market with a new digital security that they could manipulate. Like the new generation said “we can’t crack our way to the top and do this shit on Wall Street, those guys in power are there and will never let us in. Let’s make our own market and do the same shit”
So to me, the whole concept of blockchain is pointless if the tech isn’t actually being applied for practical purposes, which there are thousands of. So why hasn’t this been pushed as a way to reform the market?
