What if GameStop bought Redbox, owned buy bankrupt Chicken Soup for the Soul? Not only do they own Redbox, with 10's of 1000's of locations, but they give an outlet for the entire game library of all store in every brick and mortar location in all nations... whoa!
streaming and disc distribution?
multi demographic multi channel distribution?
Video Game Disc and DVD rentals instantly, plus on demand Streaming AND, a full on Streaming Channel with Crackle.
With the cash hoard Gamestop has, they could scoop a massive channel and monetizable outlet in one fell swoop for the entire inventory. Even if the world shifted to streaming, knowing you could get the disco you want for your ps# xbox# bluebray dvd wtf ever disc you wanted for a day, week, month, forever.. as a gamer and entertainment enjoyer, I would totally get my fix 2-3 mins away next day as I grabbed a beer and snack anywhere cause Redbox is everywhere.
.. anywho the data shows its a flea market bargain when you look at the value vs the inventory, which all of us who know should know is already online and cataloged in every town near you.
