Does anybody else regret the wasted potential of the Supernatural universe?
Post Body

Edit: So glad I made this post. I love to see how much this show means to other people, even if some people disagreed with me <3

I should start by saying I love the show and started watching it when I was like 14, back when it first started airing in the now-defunct WB channel (I'm 30 now). It's been a part of my life for so long that it's like a family member. I love the cast and how hard they worked to make the best out of material that unfortunately the network and executive creative team didn't care as much about.

But, as a writer, I always feel so sad when I think about how this world of characters and lore never met its full potential at the hands of the CW/the decision-makers that didn't care as much as we did about continuity, character development, etc.

As a result, I spend a lot of time writing/reading fanfiction of that world, imagining the Premium TV anthology version of this show...think multiple different generations, cities/places, and time periods like Fargo. Ugh.
