I’ve seen a lot of comments about the most recent episode concerning Rowena and Ketch dying. To be honest, I think it’s really fitting the way both Ketch and Rowena died. Their characters finally fully redeemed themselves and overcame their biggest flaws.
Since his introduction, Ketch has always put money above loyalty and stuck with the winning side, however he died choosing not to sell out Sam and Dean, knowing it meant his death. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I’ve always liked Ketch’s character, the one thing I’ve disliked however is how underutilized his character was. They could’ve done a lot with him but he never got the screen time to really shine.
As for Rowena, she’s always done whatever it takes to stay alive, but she sacrificed herself for the greater good, even if she needed Sam to help her do it.
Their deaths could’ve been handled a bit better, I haven’t really been 100% on board with the writing for the first 3 episodes this season, but I’m not upset with how their characters ended up. I’m gonna miss them though.
