I started getting into Supernatural not even 2 weeks ago after being casually exposed to little bits of the lore for years, and the way that I started watching SPN content was through compilation vids and clips from the show (normally I wouldn’t do this, but most of the larger events in the show I already knew about).

One of the earliest clips I watched was Dean driving the Impala to meet Sam in heaven and the emotional impact of that being my first time EVER hearing Carry On Wayward Son has permanently altered my brain. Now every time I hear even just the first few notes tears spring to my eyes and I have to fight off sniffling to myself in public lmao.
