I am 480lbs (23M) and I have a concert in 2 weeks where I will be standing for probably 6 hours. How can I make make this as less painful as possible?

Sorry about the bad grammar in the title.

I'm worried about standing for so long and getting pain in my back and feet. How can I help this? Will going on long walks every day from now until then build up some endurance in my joints? any particular shoes and socks? I can't cancel because I'm going with friends and we literally have been waiting a year for this

Wow. I suggest you figure out how to sit during that time. How many hours can you stand right now? I know I can't stand 6 hours. It's not even a pain thing, I don't think I can physically do it. Can you bring a stool or something? Amazon has a bunch that telescope down into the size of a purse, but you can open and sit on as needed.

Maybe start working up to it today? See how long you can stand right now and build up?

Ok. I just saw it's a foo fighters show. No way a stool would work. Maybe ask about disabled seating? I know embarrassment is an issue, but think about how embarrassing it would be if you fall on someone or on the floor and can't get up.

Good luck my friend.
