SMB 2 vs 3 or 4

I own SMB2 and played a decent chunk of it a year or 2 back and tried 3 but didn't like graphical style changes.
Should I revisit 3 or try 4 via gamepass or just stick with 2 now that EA are running things?
I'm a casual player with minimal baseball knowledge as I'm a brit so only play for casual fun!
