Storage for ISUP
Post Body

How bad is it really to store an ISUP rolled in the bag, standing up (ie so the board would essentially be sitting on its side)? Will it significantly impact the life of the board?

If I can't store it flat, is it better to drape it over a closet rail?

Right now it's still in the box laid out flat like they suggest for storage, since it's basically still winter where I am, but I'm looking into long term storage ideas. I can buy a larger plastic tote, but I also have a basically unused wardrobe where I could do either of the other storage methods.

I likely also have room in the back of a basement storage area, but it's less than ideal for regular accessibility. Only other really accessible option is my car and I think I want to avoid that (right?)

Comments

My board recommended partially inflating to keep it's shape.
