HYPOTHETICALLY speaking, if the final SSKTJL Season brings back all League members in one fashion or another would you be interested in a continuation of the Arkhamverse?
Personally I loved the Arkhamverse from Origins- Arkham Knight. Might be my favorite Batman universe because it seems to fit my head cannon idea for what The Batman should be, it’s Kevin Conroy, and heavily based on BTAS I grew up on. To me, the Arkhamverse had very few flaws in its lore and representation of The Batman’s world.
I recall seeing artwork from the canceled Batman Beyond style game focused on Damian Wayne as The Batman and Bruce as a mentor near retirement training his heir. To me that’s the best way to approach winning back the fan base. It doesn’t have to be Rocksteady, maybe it does for licensing purposes, but it seems plausible they wouldn’t completely toss the entire universe off one games performance. Especially when it was a completely new genre of gameplay. Games like Spider-Man and God of War have garnered so much success built on the back of games like the Arkham series. The intelligent move for Rocksteady to save its image should be to give the fans a game that brings new life to the franchise and goes back to its roots. I’ll just be very saddened if it truly ended on a live service cash grab.
