Is it inappropriate to give a bereaving mother a lock of her child's hair that she lost to suicide? Would really appreciate a mother's perspective.
Post Body

So for some perspective here, the hair was given to me when he was alive, I was using it to create an art piece with human hair (weird I know but it's just something I do).

The mother actually gave me the envelope with the hair inside it and wrote on the front of it, so it is her hand writing and obviously her son was alive when this all happened.

I'm not sure if it's weird or something nice to have. I would really appreciate a mothers perspective on this.
