Has anyone "borrowed" a bike expert to shop for a used bike?
Post Body

Tl;dr I know nothing of bikes (yet) and I don't want a brand new bike for my first motorcycle. Is there a way to find a person to take with me to look at a motorcycle to check it out for me? Do I look for an area-specific motorcycle group and beg some soul to take pity on me? Pt 2. Are there basic, easy to understand videos on YouTube to learn how to take care of motorcycles?

I haven't gotten my license yet, and I don't plan on buying a motorcycle until after I move to Atlanta, GA (autumn, 2021). But I want to start learning about motorcycle ins and outs of how they work so I can work on it myself. I plan on getting a cruiser (really liking the Honda Rebel, specifically) so are there videos that are specified for that? Disclaimer: I know nothing about working on cars, so I'm starting fresh.

Bonus question somewhat related: is there a place online to pre-study for the exam before actual testing? I'm in Texas
