Hey r/SuggestAMotorcycle

Having tons of trouble deciding what bike to get. I recently passed my MSF course here in California and i'm officially M1 licensed. I've narrowed it down to these three bikes. I am 6'1" and 180 pounds. I want to use my bike to commute from home to work (16 miles each way). I drive roughly from Downtown LA to Long Beach. (710 freeway to be precise)

Hopefully one of these bikes will also allow me to do short trips to San Diego, SLO, Santa Barbara or Vegas but that is a bonus. I don't want to get ahead of myself. I am perfectly fine practicing for a while until i can hone in on my skills on one of these bikes.

Bikes in question:

2016 Yamaha YZF-R3 (2xxx miles) Asking $3000 <--- I test drove this bike. I thought it was fine.

Ninja 300 with ABS ($2000 - $3000) <--- I've heard good things about this bike. I haven't tried one yet.

2003 Suzuki SV650 ($2000) 51xxx miles <--- many redditors vouch this bike for beginners but idk, it seems like a lot of power for a first bike. But what do i know?
