Ok, lets start with the basics.

• I'm a 6'3" male with about a 38" inseam
• I've never driven or have rode passenger on a motorcycle
• My budget to buy is $1500
• I think I like dualsport and cruisers
• I plan on using this for daily commute to work and leisure
• San Antonio, Texas is the location

I've finally decided I want to splurge some money on my self ^{with permission from my wife.} After thinking a good while I came to the conclusion that some type of motorcycle would be best for me. Being the shade-tree mechanic I am, I looked around on craigslist and think I found something thats right for me.

Its an 1981 Honda cb 900 Supersport with 1600 miles. Its been sitting in a garage or so the ad says. That mean lots of maintenance work to be done. I'm all up for doing the work to make it road worthy but not sure if its a good buy since I haven't the slightest idea how much I'd be sinking into it. What do you all think?
