Can someone give me a couple of suggestion?
Post Body

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

  • Country of purchase: Saudi Arabia/Online (If the website delivers to Saudi Arabia..)

  • Budget range: Maximum is about $1000 - 1100 USD

  • Purpose (netbook, ultraportable, mainstream, gaming, desktop replacement, etc.): Gaming/Photoshop/After effects

  • Screen size preference: >15"

  • OS preference (Windows/ Mac/ Linux): I'll get used to anything if I have to. I'm currently using Windows.

  • Gaming requirements (example games and desired fps/settings): I plan on playing more games in the future, but I'm currently limited to Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour (I realise this is rather old, but it runs perfectly on my potato.). I also play League of Legends and my I get about 14fps on a good day. I've been meaning to try out Starcraft 2 and FIFA '12, though.

  • Performance requirements (video, CAD, etc.): Don't really understand this part, but I would love to sit through a 1080p youtube video without having to restart my computer.

  • Method of computer support (office supplier, college bookstore, self support): Self-support.

  • Brand preferences and reasons (already owned accessories, familiarity, business compatibility): Doesn't really matter.

  • Any particular style that you like (examples are great):

  • Which of the following qualities would you prefer? (Choose one, the other, or balanced)

  • Long battery life -vs- Low weight: Long battery life/Balanced

  • Build quality -vs- Low price: Balanced

  • Low noise/heat -vs- High performance: Balanced/High performance

Would you pay a premium for something that has:

  • High resolution screen:

  • A great keyboard:

  • A great touchpad/mouse buttons:

  • Great audio:

The answer to the above is that it would depend on whether the stock item is mediocre or if the new items really make a difference. If so, I would.

List any features that are critical: (e.g. Optical drive, USB 3.0, SD card slot, ethernet port, HDMI port, bluetooth, VGA port, removable battery, glossy screen, matte screen, etc.)

It would be nice (has to) to have a built in webcam, microphone, sd card slot and optical drive. I realise that there's a compromise between matte and glossy screen finishes and I would like to have a glossy screen in order to have the best image quality.

Thanks in advance for all the suggestions!

Here are a couple of laptops that I have seen and have considered: 1 (Only considering the one listed on the right) and 2. Would the 1 GB dedicated video card make a huge difference?
