As in the title, I'm looking to gift my mom a PC, tablet, laptop, something of the sort. She's a teacher and basically only uses the computer for MS Office and internet browsing. Portability is key, since my mom doesn't have a desk at home, she's just working from the couch and needs to be able to take this thing to work to make notes, edit documents etc.

I was actually looking into whether Samsung Dex setup with something like Nexdock or UPerfect wouldn't be the best idea, considering I could pretty much kill 2 birds with one stone and get her a "laptop" and a phone that she also needs, but I'm not sure how functional this kind of setup would be.

I'm not opposed to any suggestion, whether it's a laptop, iPad or whatever, she will be fine using whatever would be the best option.

Price is not an issue, but there's no reason to overkill with Alienware laptop or MacBook Pro.

Can you help me?
