Post Body

**Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:**600-700 EUR (230K-250K HUF). Hungary

  • **Are you open to refurbs/used?**No
  • **How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?**Battery life, performance, build quality, form factor
  • **How important is weight and thinness to you?**1,8 kg would be the maximum. The slimer the better
  • **Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.**14" to 15"
  • **Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.**Yes I do some light/medium gaming, mostly occasional. I'm a PhD student, so I use mapping software (GIS), R (coding), big databases in Excel and documents management software.
  • **If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?**I want to play Control, A Plague Tale, Valorant, Star Wars Battlefront, Fallen Order, Squadrons, Cities Skylines, maybe Doom. I'm ok with medium settings and no need of more than 40-60 fps.
  • **Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?**I'd like it to have a good keyboard quality and if its in english, the better, also I need it to be resistant just in case, a decent webcam too and enough USB ports (at least 3 USB-A, USB-C maybe?)
  • **Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.**I'm inclined to Ryzen processors (4000/5000 series), no need of GPU, Iā€™m happy with Radeon integrated ones. Preferring: Lenovo (Ideapad 3 or 5, Yoga), Asus (Vivobook) or Huawei (D15) laptops. I put the budget in Euros and Forints because I plan to get it on other european stores (i.e. Amazon, etc). Thanks in advance'
