  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:
    40,000php - 59,000php
  • Are you open to refurbs/used?
    No
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?
Good processor for editing and streaming. Good gaming performance. Good thermals are a priority for me. Good battery is not needed (Mobile workstation).
  • How important is weight and thinness to you?
Wight and Thinness does not matter to me
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
    N/A
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
I do streaming, gaming, photo and video editing. I use the Adobe suite.
  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?
Most demanding game I own is Battlefront 2 EA. I dont care about high FPS I just want a constant 60, I usually cap it so I'm ok with a 60hz screen
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
Good amount of ports, hopefully a SD card slot and a overall I just want a well built laptop
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

I'm looking for a laptop that's not too difficult to repair by a 3rd party company if it were to pass its warranty. I've had a bad experience with the Lenovo Y520, having so many issues with my GPU, software and hardware where it would not detect itself and have a lot driver issues. It was gonna cost me a lot after I passed the warranty. The GPU cannot be detected for the nth time and now I just want to find a replacement.
