I believe I’ve settled on the following laptops but I am open to others. At first I thought the Aspire 5 but then saw people recommending Lenovo. My dilemma now is there are a couple different versions of Acer Aspire 5 and Lenovo’s. If you were me, would you spend $100 more for a better processor, longer battery life, more storage/RAM, and/or WiFi 6 (aka the differences between the models)? Less money would be nice but I’m a values guy and prioritize longevity/reliability. I’ve done some research and keep getting mixed reviews on laptops and AMD vs Intel processors.

This is basic use so I won’t be doing any editing or running multiple draining programs simultaneously on a daily basis and will hopefully be in use for 5 years. Most use of space would probably uploading pictures from a DSLR.

Or are there other laptops you would suggest?

Aspire 5 - Core i3 processor and WiFi 6

Aspire 5- Core i5 with more RAM and storage but no WiFi 6

Lenovo IdeaPad - AMD Ryzen 3

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 - Core i5 w/ WiFi 6

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 - AMD Ryzen 5 (concerned with some bad reviews)
