Which laptop for a 12 year old?

I am wanting to buy my 12 year old a laptop for Christmas but are undecided which one to go for. He likes playing games such as Fortnite but he has a PS4 pro so the laptop will be used mainly for school work, surfing the web, YouTube & light internet games such as Roblox maybe Netflix.

The 3 laptops I am looking at with the cheapest first are:

HP 14-dk0020na 14" 128GB SSD 8GB Ram AMD Ryzen 3 3200u Radeon™ Vega 3 SVA Display (TN) £300

Lenovo IdeaPad S340 15.6" 256GB SSD 8GB Ram Ryzen 5 3500u Radeon™ Vega 8 TN Screen £350

ASUS VivoBook 15 15.6" 256GB SSD 8GB Ram Ryzen 5 3500u Radeon™ Vega 8 IPS Screen £400

I was thinking of going for the Lenovo due to the better spec than the HP however the Asus has a better IPS display but is £100 more expensive than the HP. Does my Son need a Ryzen 5 with Vega 8 & IPS display or will he be fine with the cheaper Ryzen 3 with Vega 3 & TN display?
