Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply.
None of these matter to much to me
How important is weight and thinness to you?
Semi. On it's own it's not important, but I'll be taking this for school so it's a large plus.
Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.
Windows
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
15.6" is preferable. Even better it it's 15.6 in a smaller form factor.
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
Gaming, yes. Mostly low stress or CPU stress focused like Civ or LoL.
If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?
Can it run League on high at steady 60fps? That's about all I ask. So long as it never struggles with LoL (which is an extra concern because I'd kinda like a 4k model).
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
I don't want an optical drive. Like, that's important. I hate the wasted space.
The only thing as important as that is the keyboard. Specifically I LOVE the keyboard on the X1 Carbon, but everything else is pretty meh. So if you can offer a good keyboard, id love it.
Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.
I'd love an m.2 nvme boot drive. I don't care about secondary storage. 4k is preferable, but not a requirement. 16gb is preferable but not a requirement. If your suggested laptop is more than my budget but I can get it refurbished or via some other saving method, that's fine.
I've been looking at the Dell 7577/G series. Kinda burnt out on research atm though.
Thanks!!
