Looking for a good laptop I can use to work on ( college stuff ) while being able to play games decently.

My old system had a dual core e6600 ,2 gb ram and an hd 5670 so a laptop with better specs would be great. Im getting it as a grad gift and my parents originally planned to get me a macbook pro but I said they can just buy me a laptop and a new phone.

Im looking at the acer aspire v3 471g. Would you guys be able to suggest anything better that is pretty close to the price? In my country it would probably be around 750 american dollars.

A sample game would probably be gw2. I wasnt really able to play it with a good fps (played at 27 fps) so if I could bump it to 40 id be happy.
