Looking for the modern Netbook experience (but maybe a bit faster). Something cheap and 13 inches or less that runs Windows moderately well, is light, charges from USB C, and has a good keyboard.

Post Body

I'm looking for something I can carry in a little 13-inch laptop bag and charge on-the-go from a 30-watt power bank. (I can buy a more powerful one, but this should charge most low-powered laptops.) I'll be running Office, Teams, possibly Thunderbird, OneDrive, and maybe 5 browser tabs on it at most. 16 GB RAM would be nice because browsers and file storage apps and Thunderbird all really love to eat my RAM for lunch and dinner, but is not required if the unit is really compelling. I am considering the Surface Go laptop, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't go past 8 GB RAM and has a touchscreen, which adds to the expense of the machine. I don't need the screen to be good, I just need something I can take anywhere and work on. Currently I have an old 2018 Pentium Surface Go tablet with a keyboard cover. I find the 10-inch keyboard to be a tiny bit cramped, I never use it as a tablet, it doesn't work well on my lap because of the kickstand, and it's a bit slow now although still surprisingly usable. I had a MacBook Air 11-inch running Windows, with the nice older Apple keyboard, and if I had that exact form factor and keyboard with a faster CPU and USB C charging, I'd use it until it died. Hopefully this gives an idea of the kind of thing I'm looking for.
