Noob requesting help with medium usage laptop

Hi
I was wondering if there are any good options around 800~900 USD with dedicated GPU and 12 or 16 Gb Memory as I need to run Bioinformatique applications on it.
I prefer lightweight but I don’t even know if my budget is enough for bulky ones. Also, I don’t like Asus Tuf gaming series.
