Getting rid of SW ‘stigma’: a question for the SD’s
Post Body

Hi guys, first post on this sub but been a lurker for a while. My question/discussion here is for the SD’s.

I’ve been doing online sex work for a few years now but only started sugaring (both online and offline) in the past year or so. We all know that a main part of a sugar relationship is intimacy-something I don’t have an issue with! Because of this, when I start speaking to an SD, I am keen to show him my body and what I can do with it (saves surprises later on and saves a lot of time if I’m not his ‘type). The best way to do this is my linking my SW Twitter profile, or here on Reddit, by looking at my post history.

Here lies the issue. Often, a lot of SD’s see my sex work as a HUGE red flag. ‘Oh she just wants to sell me pictures’, when that could not be further from the truth. Of course, if distance is an issue, an online arrangement is necessary, but I don’t like to be perceived as a ‘cam girl’ (I don’t actually cam), ‘scammer’, or ‘wanting easy money’.

Does an SB doing sex work on the side genuinely put SD’s off? How can a sex working SB prove herself to be as genuine as those that don’t do sex work? I am as equally committed to physical, long term arrangements as I am to online arrangements and sex work, but I don’t think SD’s view it this way.

Sorry if this doesn’t make sense. It’s a tricky thing to explain!
