I’ve been seeing this guy for a few weeks and he recently mentioned he wanted me to be his girlfriend (like we were talking and he referred to me as his girlfriend. I played surprised and just said I didn’t know I was his girlfriend lol and he was like we’ll make it official). So we’re going to a nice dinner tomorrow and I think hes planning to officially ask me.

I’m curious how do I make it clear that if I am to be his girlfriend I want him to invest in me?

I’ve never been a SGF before only had formal arrangements where everything is laid out upfront.

For some context we have been dating for a few weeks. Been on some really nice dates. He also offered to get me some stuff for my new apartment I just moved into.

I will say I do really like him, he’s such a gentlemen when we’re together, his attention to detail is amazing so I’m actually not opposed to be his girlfriend. But also don’t wan to fall victim to a dick tactic 😂 because we haven’t been intimate yet and he’s been hinting at it.

So how do I bring up the being spoiled thing?
