I've heard the opinion expressed that Shiv gets shafted a lot on the show because she's the daughter in a misogynistic family. While it's true, Logan is pretty sexist at times, Shiv's failures are a lot deeper than that. There's plenty of competent, powerful woman on the show - Gerri, Kerry, Marcia, I could go on. Shiv is pretty intelligent, but out of the 3 in line - L, R, and her, at least the other two occasionally come up sharp in big moments, where as she never does, she literally has the emotional intelligence of a tween. Kendall and Roman make a win occasionally, I can't think of a single time Shiv really comes through. And the "for **** sake dad tell them it's me" is just soooo bad I mean say what you want about Kendall and Roy but they're not going to flip out to such a weird degree in public when 25 bil is on the line
